I'm not getting too excited here, but I think if we can get Dempsey and another couple of qualitry players, we can win the title. We've got a great back 5, Gerrard and Lucas in the middle. Then, with Suarez and Carroll up front. If we can get Affelay from Barca and another striker (perhaps Darren Bent0 we can challenge for the title.
Thoughts?

No harm in a bit of optimism but winning the title is out of the question, getting back amongst the CL places is the first objective and anything extra will be a massive bonus.

Forget the title but we won't be as poor as last year...we will certainly compete for ecl places I'm sure of that
