OP foxhd1986 Under 16 Player F Joined: Mar 2012 Posts: 210	According to the spanish newspaper "SPORT" Lille has made an official 7 million euros offer for Ibrahim Afellay of Barca.(also seen this reported on Eurosport.) Should we make a move for him or sit this one out?

mybloodisred Under 23 Player M Joined: May 2010 Posts: 1,679	I don't think we are looking at him seriously. His stats are pretty weak accross the bored, he's no spring chicken, hasn't cut it at the highest level, all these things are issues our transfer 'team' openly said they want to avoid.

He should also be too old for FSG. I would be surprised if we ever buy someone over 24 again, unless it's a stopgap 30+ guy to warm the bench.
