I have been in spain for the last week, my hotel overlooked a football pitch where I watched some kids play, bibs vs shirts.

Was just amazing to watch how skilled there are, and how totally different football is played out there. Didn't see one slide tackle, was just one touch fancy football. Really entertaining to watch. They really do have a totally different philosophy out there when it comes to football.

Another observation was just how massive Liverpool still is out there, the only merchandise you could buy was either, barca,spain, man united or Liverpool. Liverpool is still a massive global brand! Just need some results now

just back myself, my apt overlooked an overgrown footy pitch that was populated by hookers at the night. spains economy is in tatters

I was working out there, so even though it was all paid and came back with a big pay cheque I still felt hard done by :p

Spain have basketball and handball instead of cricket and rugby.

I do think it's more down to quality than quantity.
