both country and Club are the same in my book as both represent who you are . you must be socially inept if you need to believe that to give yourself an identity. Look its perfectly fine to disagree with my opinions, its a forum and thats whats supposed to happen. I think anyone who does'nt think identity is important to some people is just burying there heads in the sand. People use a country to identify themselves, people use football Clubs, Associations, memberships, political party identity e.t.c. so you see identity wether people like it or not is still something which is important to people, if you are calling people who believe in it socialy inept you are talking about a huge, huge number of people. well you exclude everyone who doesnt live on your road from your supporters club. most normal people identify themselves by who they are and their actions. weak people cling onto clubs and nationality for identity because it allows them to exclude others, giving them a false illusion of power.
Luis Garcia, He drinks sangria He came from Barca, to bring us Joy He's five foot seven, he's football heaven please don't take my Luis away.

So do you identify yourself with us as we all support Liverpool? Not a problem, I dont question anybody who wants to support Liverpool as they are welcome, my questioning is the reasons some support the Club and are they valid.

What are these reasons as you see them? Well I dont think gloryhunters are valid, prawn sandwich brigaders, daytrippers, jester hat wearers, fans who attatch themselves to clubs because its fashionable, fans who pick the Club to support when they live in a place with a perfectly good Club just not as big or successful as Liverpool is, no ties or attatchments to the Club or area there just a couple of reasons I would say are questionably not valid, only in my opinion, disagree if you like as its fine..

So you are not proud to be identified as being a Liverpool supporter then.

pride and identity are two different things. disagree I think you can have both, I am proud to be identified as a Liverpool Supporter and I am proud to come from Liverpool, you not proud to be identified where you come from then.
