I take your point Rafa but Owen's a businessman like them all. If he left on a bosman thats our fault. If he lied we should have seen through it thats business and negotiation.

stanley it was the Club to blame for Owen's departure, if they were'nt so stupid and stuck in the sentimentality of thinking players are all loyal they would of taken measure where he would not of been able to leave so easily.

Rafa if the boot is on the other foot clubs are always ruthless. They don't give out contracts unless the player delivers. I don't blame players one bit for looking after their interests Owen or anybody.

I set very high standards, unfortunately the Club has come up short for the last 22 years so things need to be said, dont believe in defending them and showing sentiment as thats the reason we are in the state we are to this day.

No you constantly contradict yourself.

You set high standards yet you submit posts saying we should accept mediocrity.

Come back when you actually have an opinion that you believe in.

My standards remain high, I just accept now that the Club is no longer the same one as the one with the high standards from years ago. I suppose this is just what happens in football, things change, anything less than first was seen as failure years ago now fans see top four as ultimate success, if we never won the Champions league it was a poor season, now it's a League Cup which is seen as the goal. I do think alot of it is down to a changing fanbase, it's different now as we are a Club without an identity and are no longer as one, we are all diverse with different opinions, you only have to look at the support our last two manager have received and how our new one has been welcomed. I see us as a top six club and no more with the odd F.A.Cup or League Cup thrown in, I would like to see alot more but taking everything into consideration and what we know and not showing sentiment from years ago, this is all we are now.

Has our new manager not been accepted? You only probably talk to people from Liverpool so if they don't accept him is it the Liverpool people who are changing? Everyone here bar welovethekop has accepted him. There has obviously been a differing of opinion with some more enthusiastic than others but that is normal.

just wanted to hilight this so everyone is clear what your agenda really is. a disgraceful and almost hilarious two tier valuation of fans. youre not more important than anyone else, no to anyone on here an certainly not to the club because of where you live. im actually glad it upsets you, nothing better than seeing someone upset by their own ludicrous discrimination.

Luis Garcia, He drinks sangria
He came from Barca, to bring us Joy
He's five foot seven, he's football heaven
please don't take my Luis away.
