Michael Owen was and is a self centred little [oops] who only ever thought of himself - that and playing for England. The way he left us late in the transfer window was a kick in the nuts - then of all teams he goes on to sign for Utd???

You're full of praise, admiration and respect for the man that delivered us our 5th European Cup, isn't that right? i have always said bentiez gets credit and well deserved credit for 2005 and 06 , but in my opinion benitez is one of the massive reasons liverpool are in a terrible state in the league and has had to spend millions to turn it around after the dross he left that dalglish had to chase and felt that he had to spend over 100 million to rectify .

Michael Owen was top player for us. Who he plays for after he left us is none of our business. Our hero Fowler played for our 70's rivals Leeds and back then we hated Revie's Leeds far more than Man Utd. Fowler also played for that other Manchester club who I think are going to cause us far more problems in the future than Man Utd. Players are just contractors who move from club to club was Gerrard not contemplating Chelsea at some point?

Saying that he was fantastic back then so we should still look back on him favourably is like regarding a mass murder as an upstanding citizen because he was a good guy before he started "offing" people...

You seem to have a strange view of modern footballers do you in your right mind think our present squad are there out of loyality to LFC? Id so I suggest we reduce their contracts by 80% but obvuisly then they would say no problem at all just as long as you keep us here at LFC.
