I'm going for England, and I'm not English. I did want Ireland to do well because they were the under dogs.

I'm not a big fan of the English or Irish in any other sports. But when it comes to football, I like them, of course, not as much as NZ. When it comes to Rugby, england can suck it, and Ireland are alright with me.

can someone do me a quick summary of what is going on here?

The Irish team are still the laughing stock of the tournament thats with or without Roy Keane being an Irish legend and also without all these touchy Irish fans. My opinion of Keane is that he has probably been the best midfielder of his generation since Souness was for us, the main reason United became the number one footballing force in the world, just my thoughts.

i think its hilarious how you just ooze hatred of the irish. thats fine by me. i dont know anyone who thinks they are the laughing stock, simply because ireland is a small nation who are glaring underdogs in any major tournament. the fact that you have to laugh at them means you hate them for some reason and im going to take exceptional joy in that.

It has nothing at all to do with liking or disliking them, I just enjoy one of my countries rivals getting bounced out of the competition, nothing more nothing less, you using the word hate is just dillusional and so far from the truth. I also think you are being very nieve if you think there wont be people, most probbaly Irish fans included taking great delight if England get bounced out tomorrow by Italy.
