The most realistic solution at this point. Both clubs could thrive with a huge new designer stadium. Most problems now have to be worked through however big and can be. I think naming sponsorship would be easier to secure and attract if it was a mega project too.

Liverpool was founded because of a ground dispute with Everton. Do you really think they can share a ground?

You're not a realist. You live in your own little bubble reinforcing your own clueless, ill educated, under experienced opinions, which have led you to be such a bitter man. no just a level headed supporter supporting the Club of his birthplace thats all, there is no need to be resorting to insults now is there, sure sign of losing a discussion if you ask me, chill out.

Take a note from your own book Cuzzy bud. There's no such thing as a discussion in your books, unless someone has the slightest chance of agreeing with you. Otherwise it's infancy

I've come around to the idea, and think it is now the only real solution. The council should pay 10-20%, and Liverpool and Everton each paying 40%. Only having to pay 40% of a new stadium is a great deal, even better than we'd get from a stadium sponsorship deal.
I don't know if Everton could pay for it or not, but if they could, then we should be open to it. I think they have offered to fund the Mr Happy Burger stall at the back of the ground. PS, why should the council pay anything. They are a public body paid for by council tax to provide municipal services to Liverpool. Why on earth should they donate to a Boston millionaire? Also not sure constitutionally they can do it?

If it is in the interest of the regeneration of The Anfield and surroundig areas there is probably somekind of grant avaliable.

insults? i take it you will be writing an open letter of apology to the people of ireland? Whats the people of Ireland got to do with it, all I have said is the Irish team have been the joke of the tournament which everyone knows, so I have'nt told any lies there and even those Irish fans who are'nt as touchy will surely agree they have been the worst team in the competition, just stating the obvious, nothing to do with Ireland and it's people, just the football side of it, so why apologise.
