There is no logic to ground share unless both clubs put in an equal capital funding and there is no chance of that.

Everton are barely solvent.

So right, this has been the biggest sticking point that the council somehow fail to grasp. I would love both clubs to share a great stadium and facilities as proposed in the football quarter. Ideally the council should fund most of it.

The soccer and rugby fraternity in Ireland share a new stadium in Dublin and it seems to work out fine, so why not, from a management point of view? However as a fan I would deffo prefer our own stadium. John Henry seems to be angling for something, either a way out of the whole stadium commitment or whatever it is, and a joint venture might be just what he's after, thinking that the council might cover Everton's shortfall, after all he is very astute in these matters. Do I trust him? Hmmm, just beginning to lose that a little of late I'm afraid.

It is the best way forward. But as stated EFC would have to put up half, naming of the stadium wuld bring in a chunk of change so the final amount required by both clubs would be a lot less than going it alone or revamping Anfield. The costs of maintaining the ground would also be shared. The council would help and we were being offered a grant if we shared so that might still be available. This would mean less of a debt to be serviced on the new ground and if it was to be a shared ground could push for a 70k seater to ensure the revenue made it worth our while. As Moyles said it is them that want it more than us so the size of it would be to LFC advantage. This would ensure the yearly transfer fund was there to improve the squad with the marquee signings each season

Has any club ever made a MARQUEE signing and if so what did they do with it?

I worry about stuff like this.
