Looks like the monster is not looking to stay at the club much longer. I don't want to see him go but if he wants to so be it, Liverpool need to get the most out of a deal (if it happens).

Was just wonder every one's thoughts on who we'd buy to replace him????, I think Scott Parker would be good. Again as i said I DO NOT WANT HIM TO GO, But after what Rafa was saying today's comments were very negative.

Rafa probably won't see a penny of the fee. The 2 clowns will just service their debts with it. I hope i'm wrong.

I think any of the above would be OK. Not heard much good about Busquets though. I'd try for Mark Noble myself. He's going to be a really good player.

It is clear that Aquilani is not a direct replacement for Alonso. This is partially Rafa's fault too. He revoked Alonso by insisting to buy Barry, as a result Alonso left. Now Mashcerano is tempted by the interest from Barcelona. It is not a very different situation. In Rafa's style of play, holding midfielders play a wider role than any other team, and a loss of two holding midfielders could as well mean devastation.

Lassana Diara would be a great replacement. More dynamic but a bit of a loose cannon.
