The transition is not officially ready yet. My point of view of MAXI is that he had fitted very well into the Rodgers football philosophy.

MAXI has good pass characteristics, while he is an incredibly good timing. He is often in the right place at the right time. He also sees opportunities and openings so that he can make good runs. He also provides good opportunities for his teammates by giving them room to play.

Too bad if he disappears from Liverpool.

When we got him i couldn't see why and to certain degrees i still stand by my point.

But can't fault those games where he scored something crazy like 7 goals in 4 games.

I agree this is a good start! Maxi was the type of player, like Meireles, who tended to disapear in games and only ever seemed to play well occasionally when he was brought on as sub. Kuyt is a hard worker but no real class.
These players can easily be replaced with better quality for similar wages.

he's a decent player but i think his time has come to move on.

he can pass the ball and link up well with others and chip in with a few goals but we need a natural winger who can do all that and beat players down the flank.

same goes for kuyt. not a prolific striker, not a natural winger just a decent squad player.

if he is shown the door it should free up room for us to make a move for a much needed natural finisher and natural winger.

if we're on a budget id take hoilett for RW.

then look at luuk de jong and jackson martinez as potential strikers

Maxi is staying put, I don't expect him to leave. He fits in well with Rodgers style I think.

i think he may get more time as he is an attacking player
