I think yes there were positives I would agree with all three

however the problems still there defence is rubbish and not enough chances created.

I am so glad the competition is over it been rubbish from beginning to end.

yep thos three were positive things, but they're also the only ones...
what happened with the skrtel we saw last season? yet again he looked very shaky (like the rest of the defense did)

this team and squad as a whole look like the just met outside the ground and went in for a kick around, and im not talking about tonights team.

the whole season from front to back we look like we dont have a clue how were playing football, kuyt is the lone striker flicking the ball onto ? err nobody! that is when he wasnt offside, the defence cant head a ball in our box or the other teams box ( agger and dossana both missing sitters)

just my cloud to your silver lining lol, pacheco did look good when he came on but we probly wont see him till next season again.

i think pacheco did enough to deserve more chances - but i can't see him getting them unfortunately ...... that lad showed what was well known by everyone who was watched him play - he is good enough

you're absolutely correct. the lad deserves more chances. rafa should give him a place at the bench against gunners. but we won't probably see him anymore this season....

It is hard to give the boy a chance when there is so much riding on the games ahead. He should be glad he got this chance to impress. Given our lack of attackers, i agree that he should at least make the bench for future games. At this stage in his career, a few mins here and there could be vital experience.

it is stupid to not give him a chance when he is so much better than our other options in the absence of torres!

Trepie, i dont think it is stupid. It is a catch 22 for Rafa. After this game, if we dont play Dani, and the team loses, the fans get more on his back. Play him and he makes a mistake like Darby today and we blame Rafa for throwing him into the fire.

Rafa's always maintained a cautious approach. As much as i would like to see Dani more often, i will trade his place on the field for 3 points anyday.

but that's just the problem isn't it? that we don't win our games at the moment...i can't think of one good reason not to let him play in the next few games, or at least give him a place on the bench.
