before the owners came in Cardiff were a nothing club going nowhere
the fans should be thankful someone has taken the time to try and advance their club.

not so sure about that. they've made a few playoffs the past couple of seasons and a cup final. not far off getting promoted without having to sacrifice their colours or crest for money.

of course. but would you take 250 million for liverpool to change to blue and for the crest to a lion for example...if it gave us more chance. what parts of the club's identity would you sell for improved chances?

I think eventualy all of the Club will be sold because everything has a price, New stadium and name, Home Games played abroad, Club crest has already changed about 7 or 8 times, Club name will probably change to Standard Charter Liverpool or whoever them main sponsor is, bit like PSV in Holland or Red Bull Salzburg, foreign owners e.t.c. so you see sooner or later it will all go while there is still money to be made and tradition wont mean a thing or count for nothing.

In that event we (and the owners) would have to think long and hard. There is no way they would turn that down.

i agree with you both stan and ianrush. it's inevitable that a top half club will someday be a new york red bulls style team within the next 10 years.

there's someone who once said to me that some people change jobs, country, religion, even a wife but people don't change club. i think i'll always support lfc but i struggle it. cos supporting a US powered corporate giant, played for by foreign multimillionaires for a club who don't care about the local people goes against everything i believe in.

NEVER EVER.
