What is the worst away ground you have ever been to and for what reason?

I despise Boro because there's no pubs around the ground, Palace is the biggest nightmare to get to, Goodison lower Bullens is woeful and is made of wood.

worst foreign ground i've been to is probably the San Siro, dump in the middle of nowhere.

i agree mate, i went boro yesterday and was shocked by it, you literally go past a chemical plant in your coach and the next minute, up pops the riverside in the middle of it :S haha shocking, but they did make quiet some noise so fair play to their fans. Also traveled (not far lol) to goodison for the disappointing F.A cup tie, and yes it is made of wood but what got me was that they have 2 screens and all they do is show previous derby wins haha bitter. but i dno about the san siro, my mate went there last year and had nothing but praise for it.

Me personally has to be wigan, the stand is steep, our atmosphere was awful when we went this year to the 1-1 and you dont even get a police escort out of the place which meant we were stuck in traffic for about 1 hour after the game :@

I don't mind Wigan to be honest, usually get a decent amount of reds there, i never go on the coaches anymore (used to love going the game on Happy Scalls though) so don't know about the police escort and that, i used to find the worse grounds for getting away from on the coach were any London game (especially Fulham)!

San Siro is impressive in size, but it's like the Attaturk, nearest pub is about 3 miles away.
