According to both Cole and Grarcia, Cole may be headed back to us with "unfinished business" at the club. What do you lot think? I personally would like to give him a shot. We sorely lack guile in our midfield right now, and he has guile in spades. Whether or not he can deliver, I dont know, but he has been a success wherever he went except here.

Is not the problem though his wages are they not something silly?

True his wages are an issue but they are only an issue if he isn't being played or has absolute stinkers if played all season.

If he stays fit, plays 30+ Prem Games and chipped in with 8 league goals and 6 assists then none of us would care about the wages.

Mighty big IF, obviously..........

I would love to see him given another chance, i think he will also fit in with the way BR wants the team to play so i can see him in a red shirt again next season.

Got to think if he is about then the likes of Henderson and Downing will get the message. With him and Aquilani it might be like signing new players as we will play a different system and those already there will have to start earning the money they are on.

He crashed last time, but he really did show promise at Chelsea, so maybe it's time to collect on the debt...

We might not but what about the rest of the players, FSG and the structure they are trying to form.

Aqua and Cole could be the injection of 'new' life the squad needs. Cole should get substantial play time during the preseason, although aqua was amazing during the previous preseason and then didnt play for us...

I think Cole will want to come back but Aqua won't. I wouldn't have Cole back though if we could have someone like Affley instead for his age and wages. That said he was looking sharp at the end of the season. He would be an easy way to get a quality player in.
