Very disappointed with the comments on this thread. Our sub standard performance on the pitch has only been surpassed by a far more disastrous financial performance. The only attacking players in our team that are wanted by any good side are kuyt,suarez or stevie g. Do you guys really think any side would want to buy henderson, downing or adam. Yet most people are so pleased we lost one of only three attacking players we have that are of any value for 1 million dollars. I have only one comment for this. It is an abomination of desolation.

Nobody appreciates the art of good hyperbole these days, with the way we are going we are going to need great story tellers and poets to retell our triumphs of yesteryear. Thus the art of good hyperbole will be at a premium. Henderson can only get better as i don't know how he could get any worse. I really hope to see a few strong signings in the summer. As i said and will say again, kuyt leaving for 1 million is an abomination of desolation

Sad to see Dirk go, worked his socks off for the shirt but on the positive side maybe what both parties need, was wasted on the right if you ask me, clearly a poacher if given the chance. and hopefully better creativity next year on the right side for us.
