im really pleased he has gone,
he must be the only winger in history with no skill or pace.
if he'd have stayed upfront it may have been a different story.
i just wish he won more trophies with us, his effort deserved more

but seriously - played with his heart on this sleeve everytime he hit the field..great servant to the club..always welcome back esp when we play the Mancs...
sad to see him go cause we need quality on the bench but hey a footballer's career is short.

Surprised he left before seeing how things would work with the new manager, but there you go.
1 million is not enough. That's an area we really need to improve upon. We've overpaid, and underpriced for years now. When he signed a new contract about a year ago we had to put something in the contract to say he could leave for abroad for a million. I don't think we 'had to'. And it didn't have to be 1 million. That covers about 3 months wages, it's poor from whoever put that clause in. Mr Comolli

Wow this one came out of nowhere? Always knew he could have left but didnt think it would happen this early, and only 1 mil to fenerbache? Come onn should have waited he could have played in a better league in a better teammm. His best years were passed him he was dreadful this year. YNWA kuyt just hope suarez doesnt leave
