I think Rafa's a tough nut. He'll be disappointed I reckon but I don't see Rafa as someone who would wallow in self pity. He's probably also aware that the owners are likely to have been fed poison about him.

Interesting to note...

... at the beginning of 'the process' Ian Ayre mentioned one of the factors they'd assess was to do with control. That was seen as something they'd learned from the Rafa days... and hence they were unlikely to consider Rafa from the start... yet at the end of the day they had to back down as even Rodgers made it clear that he wouldn't work under a DOF.

... feel for Rafa... but hopefully he'll do well elsewhere... and the fresh start might be best for LFC at this point.

Rafa deserves much more respect from us.

I maybe wrong but i believe Rafa will have the last laugh one day.

I will support BR because my heart is with Liverpool.

Then again we have over estimate BR and our team same time under estimating the rest.

Some of us are so sure of the end of Chelsea. Look who they have signed so far.

Nor forgetting Arsenal, Man City and scum. As much as we are improving so are the rest.

I don't think there's anyone laughing at Raffa at all - quite the opposite. A lot of people would have been happy to have him back, I think we'd have been pretty competitive under him again.

But this was arguably his best chance to get the job back and he never seemingly stood a chance at all - he's gotta have that sickly vomit taste in his mouth surely...
