When I was growing up we were advised by all and sundry that the art of good polite conversation was to avoid discussing politics or religion and you know Armi, the longer I live the more I begin to understand the wisdom in that advice. True but you dont get polite conversation here!

sorry i mentioned he was irish i thought it might please the irish support one of the fellow irishmen as liverpool boss , but it looks like it doesnt .  yea all went a bit south (oops shouldn't say south). ah never mind. fck the paddy's, lets hope he does a good job regardless and then he can be the pride of liverpool.

Welcome Brendan. Happy that a fellow Irish man- Northern Irish man is set to become manager of LFC. The country of Ireland doing us proud in the sporting arena. Darren Clarke, Rory Mc Ilroy, Graham Mc Dowell, George Best, Norman Whiteside, Barry Mc Guigan, Dennis Taylor, Harry Gregg, etc etc etc (could go on all night)!. Think Northern Ireland has a lot to show for itself regardless of some comments posted on this thread! I think it was flames that said this could either be the start of something big or a major disappointment.
We are they key to making this work!
Please support him, We were playing well last year, just needed to finish games off.
With Rodgers in charge I have a feeling the good times are coming home to Anfield.
I fully support this appointment now. Let's make this work guys. Not sabotage an appointment prior to giving the man a chance.
