Have to say I'm a lot happier than when the hodge or Kenny signed.
Dare I say it- I'm even excited?

I think he will do well, but he needs a few seasons and patience.
Kenny has laid some good foundations for him to build and I think he will do well.

This rolling out of Shankly as proof that you don't have to be great already to end up a great is ridiculous and rather insulting to the man.
Could you give the job to Simon Grayson cause he's Huddersfield manager and Shanks was too and we all know how that worked out....
The appointment of Rodgers should be judged on it's own and not in comparison with something that happened in 1959.

wouldn't have been my first choice but prefer him to and think he's got more about him than martinez. Wish him all the best. YNWA

I can't say I'm over the moon about this although I'd take Rodgers over Martinez anyday. At least we can look forward to a few weeks of proper transfer specualtion now!

Not exactly doing cart wheels amongst a gaggle of dancing bears and performing Hippo's, but hey ho. I'll support him and I heartily wish him the best of luck and extreme patience for the teams first defeat of the season. whistle
