Nobody is better than god....................except maybe that Spanish boy or wait, is he.

Fowler is god and maybe Torres is the holy ghost, he does seem to leave defenders tackling nothing but fresh air.

Imagine the partnership those 2 could have forged!

fowler was an unbelievable goalscorer and i have all the respect in the world for him! but still i'd have to say that torres is a better player overall. he creates chances out of nowhere and his pace scares every defender to death....i just think he has the abilty to create more on his own. still he hasn't achieved what fowler did for us but the question was who was the better player of 'em and i think torres is the one...

fowler did things that torres could only dream of doing - torres is quicker but fowler could create chances out of nothing even though he didn't have torres' pace ...... plus fowler was playing alongside the likes of collymore and rush, neither are exactly creative players

i saw him play 50 yard passes to a player in space to create a chance - torres could never do that!

there is no competition - torres edge is pace, but he is the only cutting edge in the team so gets more of the chances than fowler did ........ fowler always had to share the chances with another striker

Rafa seems like a good manager, but is awful at buying players. I know he has bought good players, Reina, Johnson, Torres etc etc but the ammount of crap is unbelievable.... Look at our bench for anygame and most of them would not get in the everton team. and that can only be Benitez fault.

We have 1 striker at Liverpool. I think that says it all.

one of the absolute biggest problems besides the masch-lucas issue is that we only have torres. if you look around europe we are the only top side with only one good striker...

My statement is a mere fact...No strike partnership has ever even come close to the collymore/fowler pairing.
