Spending and wages is spiraling out of control.
I suspect there will soon be a number of big football clubs with some heavy debt. Added to this are low revenues and low attendances as the global recession continues to bite.
Cautious spending will become the order of the day

i don't see how that is possible tbh,spurs and city are miles ahead of us ,in terms of attacking quality and intent its just no even comparable. when i see them attack its pass and move ,confidence ,desire,speed,quality -when i see us i just think of vomit.villa will finish above us also, maybe fulham and brum aswell What a horrible little post,makes me feel like vomiting knowing your a fellow lfc supporter

how about you should have to take a pay cut if you dont show 100% commitment in each game. Performance based salary, with incentives! You decide how much you want to earn by showing us on the pitch. I like that!
