He is still first team for Holland so needs to play regularly at a club too

What I can't seem to get over is the discrepancy in performance between club and country. When he's wearing orange, he looks like a legitimate international footballer with decent skill and good vision. He always impresses me at international tournaments and did well again yesterday. When he puts on a red shirt, he becomes a golden retriever. He'll chase and chase all day without really doing much. Some of it comes down to playing with better players, but even at our strongest he was never a world-beater.
