Some of us are suggesting that we purchase a 3rd striker to play with or complement both our 2 best strikers ie : Andy Carroll and Luis Suarez. So do you think we should buy a striker who is behind both the strikers that we have in pecking order ( back up ) or do we buy a striker who needs to come into the first team right away and makes an impact? And from which league do you think we should get the striker from?

Mine would be someone from the Bundesliga.
Someone like Lewandowski and Gomez who are fox in the box but also deadly in the air...

Personally, I think we need another big name striker. Suarez is not always placed as up front and can play in other areas. Another good striker needs to come into the club and maybe even another backup. We cant just rely on Andy Carroll being up front alone all season for every game. We need not only backup players but also a plan B so to speak to change a game.

Klaas-Jan Huntelaar from Schalke. He is the fox in the box that would get us at least 20 league goals a season

We need a No1 striker. Suarez is no centre forward and AC wwill only ever be good enough in a backup role. Huntelaar? Can't see it somehow.

Jermaine defoe. 5-6 Million.

I would say we need a first team striker, but I wouldn't mind Rhodes from Huddersfield as another option off the bench. He could work well with Suarez too.

for that kind of money i would take him. i think he could work well with AC or suarez

It depends on what kinda formation we're looking at playing as well. If it's 3 up front, do we spend the money on a central striker or on a wide man? In the middle we have AC and Suarez and out wide we have Downing...
