The eternal optimist in me says things will change soon. I'll give Rafa until the end of the season and then make my mind up. He is on borrowed time though.

Like I said in a previous post, If he leaves we should give Roberto Di Mateo a go. We won't have the money to get a world class manager in any case, so get someone that's young, up and coming and who's team has the best goal difference in it's league and has scored the most goals.

Good idea i think di Mateo would be good, i mean up and coming you never know. I mean all the greats started somewhere

Flameboy i myself don't think they are light years ahead but i was pointing out how bad our form is. Which in way this is bad on Rafa because if the squads are equal why are we behind them.

Also we going to properly drop more points against arsenal, i think a draw is the best result.

At the moment they have conceded the second least amount of goals, but it might be best to see how they end up. After seeing the stats I'll try to get some of their games in to see how they play.

That job interview was going so well until I realized I was fukked up on acid in the middle of a cornfield naked and talking to a scarecrow.

i dont fancy this arsenal game at all, it must be said.

i cant see fulham continuing form. spurs always self distruct. its a long season as we know (and the masters of it are, sad to say, united. and i get the feeling that chelski are going to be kicking themselves at the end of the year).
i just think a snapshot of 9 games can be misleading. united have had bad runs in the past and could really be shown up over 9 games. but its the 38 that matter.

true flameboy but this is do know

1. We are not going to be close to the top 3 fact ( i would guess at least 15 - 20 points behind the champions).

2. It going to be a struggle to get 4th (there are at least 3 other teams in the mix).

3. The form is so bad ( We could be 4th it could be 7th i don't know).

4. There are glaring holes in Rafa's tactics this season ( the central midfield partnership don't work and he doesn't seem to want change it)

5. aquaman (whats going on there and why spend so much money for someone who only seems like hs is going to play half a season at best).

6. People say wait till the end of the season but if we get too far behind will the panic button be pressed. (If we don't finish top 4 then Rafa has to go because it frankly not good enough)

yea finishing top four is going to be the lynch pin.

but ya know what this bleedin club is like, it could be 1970's Brazil in the run in.
what surprises me is that players are signing contracts, staying with the club, backing the manager and taking some of the responsibility. what is it they know that we dont. i get the feeling there is a long term plan in place. otherwise everyone would be sodding off. there has to be a reason people are staying and unifying during tough times.

they've won nothing in 4 years, we've won nothing in 3...

i don't really care about what they've done in the past, im talking about today...take a look at the table and you will see arsenal, spurs, city and villa ahead of us and at least 3 of them are playing much better football than us...at the moment i have a hard time seeing us in the top 4 at the end of the season...

yeh but its only 4 points and we havent clicked yet, what im saying is all these other teams you seem to prefer watching would be blown away by us on form and injury free.
