Spot on. And whilst our manager should be trying to sign new players he'll be too busy assessing the current ones and seeing if they can fit in with his plans. By the time that's sorted the season will have begun and any targets he might have had in mind will be at man city!
That might actually be a good thing and alleviate any pressure on him for next season. With the limited preparation time he will have it would be unreasonable to expect anything spectacular next season. An improvement on 8th would satisfy me (providing he doesn't spend an absolute fortune to achieve it!)

im actually not to worried about who is the next manager i still trust fsg and in fairness i dont know what fsg's plan is if its martinez he could be surrounded by older been there done that staff like van gaal as dof for instance

FSG are obviously applying the young player policy to managers too. I'm not saying they will fail but when been there and done it manages are available it makes you wonder why they don't get the job.

i expect it to be done in about 2 weeks,

as for players things are relatively quiet everywhere, agents and selling clubs want to wait till after the Euros to start biding wars, and i think we will mostly go for the players we are already tracking

You'd think with all the positively overwhelming almost hilarious amount of hysteria and impatience in here, that someone was actually going to lose their piggin' life if a new manager isn't appointed today...but preferably yesterday .

Id agree id take Rush back in a second. While were at it get Souness and Barnes back aswell, they're bound to better than Spearing and Downing respectively.
