So, with AVB hesitant and the odds dropping sharply on Martinez and Rafa who would your choice be? I know many of you dislike one or the other, but this isn't a thread for slating either. I just want your honest opinion, who would you rather have in charge? Rafa or Martinez? Only those 2 options because it looks like that's the reality of things.

yea but that was what, 30/40 years ago? things have changed a lot since then. i dont think we can apply the same theory. the game has evolved.

excited or panicky?
when raffa came in he was still unproven to some degree but i was intrigued by his appointment. this is the same as appointing hodgson, the exact same. actually its a bit worse cause west brom were doing better than wigan are now.

exactly..fans are on the outside blowing hot air cause he is not a cappello or some other already top club manager..if u look at it objectively the guy plays ball. wegner came from the J league and ripped the prem aprt in his first season..that wasn't 40 yrs ago..this is an inspired choice.

Martinez or whoever the next appointment will surely be given funds to strengthen the team. Our squad is at least twice as good as Wigan's. I am sure he will do a much better job here.
