Good point Ian I but I still think the stadium is worthwhile. But for it to succeed I think football as a whole needs to remarket itself and players wages need to be addressed. The current business model is wrong but thats not to say a new business model would never work. All the other clubs are building new stadia Liverpool would be alone in not doing so

I will happily call it Sir Alex Ferguson stadium. Just get working already ffs! We are 25 years behind the top clubs. What a magnificent site the Allianz arena was. Truly spectacular, something we really need to move us up the food chain.

even though its a tad doom and gloom at the mo,ive got a feeling(just a feeling,no inside info) the whole mood at the clubs going to lift very soon,a new manager,few new suits running the club,david dein as d.o.f and a possible stadium sponsor in the pipeline,things would be looking very nice
