He had one bad season as I see it, then he got fired when he shouldn't have, and the only reason he got fired then was because we were used to such a high standard because of him, I'd like to see him with good owners and given some money to spend, that's one thing he is definitely good with, identifying good players

I'm not sticking up for Kenny. I know Rafa had his faults, just don't say he nearly got Inter relegated, got knocked out the CL group stages or wasted 100m. It's just not true.
I don't know if he'll be the answer - just be reasonable with your comments. He was a good manager for us and 'could' do better under better circumstances (owners).

I was talking about Inter under Rafa, I assume we've got our wires crossed.

Gonzalez: Cost a mere 8 mil and only started 14 games, he came of the bench 11 times. He scored 2 goals. How many goals per game has Downing got. Plus he's doing quite well for CSKA. Sold for 5 mil.
Dossena: Cost 7 mil, he was average in England, but plays well in italy. Helped knock City out of the CL only get knocked out by the eventual winners just like Barca, Bayern and Benfica did. Not suited for the Prem, but good in Italy. Sold for 4 mil.
Nunez: was free.
Keane: You mean the player that Parry brought because Rafa wanted to get Barry. He also scored one more goal than Carroll in the prem, and that was in half a season. Hardly a bad player. Sold for a loss of 12 mil.
Kromkamp: was free. Sold to PSV.
Insua: was dirt cheap and came through the reserves. He was very promising and was thrown in the deep end because of Aurelio's injuries. Sold for like 3 mil.
El Zhar: was dirt cheap, like 1 mil. He didn't do well in England but has done well in Spain leading Levante to 5th. Higher than we get in the prem. Released.
Pennant: was 6 mil and was hardly a bad player. He's always been talented, unfortunately Rafa couldn't train his attitude. Free to leave.
Calevarri: was a 3 mil goal keeper that didn't really play because of Reinas form. Like Doni and Jones.
Aqualani: 20 mil and hardly a bad player.
Degan: was free. Free to leave.
Josemi: was 2 mil and had some top clubs watching him because of his form with Malaga. Swaped for Kpomkamp.
Babel: was 14 mil and was hardly a bad player for us. He got less starts than Downing has got during every season he was with us and scored more goals than Downing during each of his seasons with us. Sold for 8 mil.
Riera: Wasn't a bad player, cost us 8 mil and scored more than Downing. Sold him for 5 mil.
Leto: Cost less than 2 mil, couldn't get a visa. If you're seen him play you would of noticed that he is actually good. Doing really well for Panathinaikos, he's their captain
and we made a profit on him.
Paletta: cst like 1 mil and is now playing in Italy with Parma. We didn't lose any money.
Plessis: Brought for less than a mil and came through our reserves. Sold him for profit.
Morientes: Was 9 mil. But he scored goals for fun in Spain before and after he was with us. Can hardly blame anyone for not knowing he would in England. Sold for 3 mil.

They finished 26 points off the top this year. I do want him back, but understand the reasons people are hesitant. There just doesn't seem a perfect, realistic replacement available.
