not jealous, my opinion was that look at the celebrations of lampard cole compared to torres and they actually contributed to the whole campaign not just a couple of games.
regarding your comment about disease on the forum, calm down mate. anyone would think you and torres were best friends or something.
your passion and loyalty toward torres is commendable I must admit I am not and will never be bitter towards players leaving especially when they give you 50m to rebuild on the stadium. I still regard him as the best striker we have ever had at Anfield, I still applaud his contributions of 80 odd goals, yes he might not have won anything but he was here when we were close to being successful in both league and champions league. He contributed more than enough to earn his medal considering how Romio, Turnbull, Sturridge, etc all these fringe players received one too. Your not jealous? yeah right...

Hate him or not, it turns out he made the right decision to leave us, he made the right decision for his career. He won the Champions League and we won the Carling Cup.
I still think he is a top player and respect him for his contribution to LFC! Take it you didn't purchase one of his replica shirts or some other random spotty scum bag related tat for a Christmas pressie for someone in 2010? Take it you didn't see anything wrong with the way he dumped us as a club at the very last minute last year? Take it you were happy with his miserable nasty little sulky face and petulance, combined with his quite obvious couldn't care less attitude the previous 2 seasons either? Actually i did purchase a shirt with his name on the back, I didn't buy anyone a gift related to him but whichever way you look at it, it was the clubs fault! Look at the tantrum that Tevez through and Man city stood their ground, told him he can sulk all he wants but he ain't going anywhere. We could have done the same, yet we chose not to, we let him leave. He put in a transfer request because he felt it was the best thing for his career, and it turns out he was right. If anything, he raised his price by doing it on deadline day. You can say that he left us to hang, but trust me, people at the club must have known about it before deadline day. It was a shock to fans but not to Kenny and the lot, THEY KNEW! Kenny and the administration handled the situation like a bunch of amateurs and threw the recieved money down the drain. I do believe Carroll will still be a key player for us but I have no faith inthe likes of Downing! However this isn't about Kenny, it's about Nando and the boy went to a top team that is challenging for trophies and winning them. Simple as that, they are and we aren't! You don't get Torres, Meireles and Reina feeling disgruntled if you treat them correctly. Meireles was lied to, as was Torres and he was fed up of it. I would be to.

celebrated like he had done something, bottled a penalty.
disgrace, won the world cup and done eff all, and tonight the same thing.
I will never respect this player again. I think this is a bit harsh. He's been at another club for a year and a half now and he's not allowed to celebrate winning the biggest club competition in the world? I think it's about time we forgive and forget about Torres. It really is time to move on.
The following is based on actual events. Only the names, locations and events have been changed.

this is a bit ridiculous.
can i just say for the record, i am not jealous (laughable really) of torres, and i in fact said he should celebrate. i thought he over did it. thats my opinion, some of you thought he celebrated the correct amount. this carry on of condemning other peoples views and trying to ram it down their throats while labelling them as having diseases and what not is completely unfounded and is not in the spirit of an open fourm at all.
Luis Garcia, He drinks sangria He came from Barca, to bring us Joy He's five foot seven, he's football heaven please don't take my Luis away.

Do you not realise this is the european cup, may be even ahead of the world cup at the moment, the amount of money and effort it takes to win it is endless. He won it and can celebrate as much as he can and rightly so. Why do some fans think he still owes us something even after he left?

he doesnt owe us anything. i never said he did.
in my opinion i think he has been very disappointing for chelsea, i thought his celebration was disproportionate to his contribution. thats all. obviously you dont and he didnt either, and thats grand. it has nothing to do with him playing for us.
i said the same about cisse once when he was with us. he was centre of the podium dancing around the trophy before it was lifted, he looked like an ass and his contribution over the season didnt warrant centre staging.

Not sure if he would have considered the correct amount of celebrations at the time.
I can understand being bitter about a player who lets his contract run down, or forces a move etc... but we did very well from the sale. Forget what we spent it on, we got 50m for an out of form striker, who 18 months on has scored a handful of goals. I didn't want them to win, that's my call, but I don't he's furthered his career that much. OK he's got a CL medal, but he knows he didn't contribute and his league form has been awful since he arrived.
As for Meireles, real shame we sold him and swapped him for Adam. So bad a move I still can't believe it. No idea why people would boo him though.
Who cares really.
