Hate him or not, it turns out he made the right decision to leave us, he made the right decision for his career. He won the Champions League and we won the Carling Cup.
I still think he is a top player and respect him for his contribution to LFC! Thats the way I see it, the reasons he gave for leaving us he has now been proved right on. I think the reason people are moaning is because Torres was correct in that he made a move to a bigger and more successful Club who would be able to provide him with the platform to win the games biggest honours, these fans moaning should be looking at blaming our own Clubs failing rather than aiming there frustration at Torres or Meireles. Agreed. It is LFC's fault these players left in the first place. Had management and the owners shown more intent and bought better players, we would be in the top 4 and challenging for trophies. Simple as that really, these guys play for money and success, not for romance, which what the fans live for.

I will never respect this player again. Talk about fking jealousy! What do you want him to do, sit in a corner and start crying? Stop hating on the lad, he made the move and gave us 50m pounds to rebuild the squad, his team won and whether you like it or not, he deserved his medal because he has scored some important goals for them in the build up to the final. Ffs, leave the guy alone.

Take it you didn't purchase one of his replica shirts or some other random spotty scum bag related tat for a Christmas pressie for someone in 2010? Take it you didn't see anything wrong with the way he dumped us as a club at the very last minute last year? Take it you were happy with his miserable nasty little sulky face and petulance, combined with his quite obvious couldn't care less attitude the previous 2 seasons either? Sure he dumped us but then it was our mistake relying on him to score the goals. We need to stop relying on a couple of players and have a team full of quality instead of just squad players. If one player decides to leave then we get in a replacement so the impact is minimal.

If people want to blame somebody then blame Kenny Dalglish for p1ssing the 50 million quid up the wall on rubbish when it should of been invested more wisely, Torres has done nothing wrong to warrant such blind jelousy.

not jealous, my opinion was that look at the celebrations of lampard cole compared to torres and they actually contributed to the whole campaign not just a couple of games.
