We've heard Ian Ayre say that the club has a plan but that it's not something they can share publicly. Fine, but that leaves a vacuum which fans and the media fill with their own speculation which can range from:

a) they don't really have a credible plan and they don't actually know what they're doing.

to

b) they have a proper plan for the future and we'll see the positive result soon. We just need to be patient.

My heart says the true situation is b). But my head, based on my interpretation of events over the last 18 months or say, says that the situation is nearer to the a) end of the scale if not quite as bad as a).

I sincerely hope I'm wrong.

Not questioning whether they have ideas and a view of where they want to go... just that they don't seem to be demonstarting a confident know how as to how to get there in the world of European football.

And for every business that succeeds, there's probably at least one that fails... largely because of mis-management, or a flawed strategy at the outsets, or even a total lack of a strategy or credible planning.

they already made a huge blunder in sacking kenny. no doubt we would ahve improved next season. patience they don't have.
so now they want AVB a fella who proved a disaster at a club with much better players and much more money.

you get the feeling that they will be sacking avb this time next year too. plus probably all the new staff they have appointed . at that stage they will just have to hold their hands up and admit they don't know what they are doing. end up selling the place.

loads of wannabees start businesses all the time with good intentions and their own money... but not all succeed... many because whilst the idea was great, the implementation strategy was flawed.

Leeds United being a good examle in the world of football investments

How did they make their money? Maybe it's from being good at what they do.

That will teach them to listen to stuck in the past fans. They've done well in everything else, why wouldn't they get this right?
