it was the group stages. it was an awful champs league campaign ..really depressing.
think lfc fans desire for rafa is similiar to the french peoples desire to see napoleon return back in the early 19th century.. a canny politician who said what they wanted to hear, a great tactician with early success, but who's vanity,ego,crulelty,coldness and big mouth lead to their downfall. and believe me if rafa escapes from elba(inter) we will have our waterloo.

think lfc fans desire for rafa is similiar to the french peoples desire to see napoleon return back in the early 19th century.. a canny politician who said what they wanted to hear, a great tactician with early success, but who's vanity,ego,crulelty,coldness and big mouth lead to their downfall. and believe me if rafa escapes from elba(inter) we will have our waterloo. He had one bad season as I see it, then he got fired when he shouldn't have, and the only reason he got fired then was because we were used to such a high standard because of him, I'd like to see him with good owners and given some money to spend, that's one thing he is definitely good with, identifying good players

It was the QF's - where are you getting this info? - "If he escapes from inter"? People talk about only remembering the good times, the many good times, but the vendetta against him is weird to say the least. All these posts about his bad buys must know most were free or very cheap, and half the rest were2nd/3rd choice, or at least made a profit on.
