Would anyone here take him as our manager
Just been looking at his record and he done ok at West Brom, and then obviously at Chelsea he has won two trophies.
I don't think he is high profile enough for the ruthless russian at Chelski.
He's young and I would personally take him over Martinez, Lambert or Rogers.
Obviously my first choice is Rafa then AvB but I would consider Di Matteo.

no, same as Kenny. Great motivator- Which is why he is amazing short term and in cups- but lacks the tactical know how to do well in the league.
He will get the job and get sacked by this time next year, mark my words.
Plus he's too "chelsea" for me

He won 50% of his league games with West Brom which is a pretty good stat, better win ratio than Lambert, Martinez & Rogers have.

he was the right man to take an aging team that he knew well and get them across the line, building a new team is a totally different game.

Not a chance. Most of his matches Chelsea have looked horrendous but he has got them points. Against Bayern they were an utter joke. Dreadful tactics for a side that has spent more than anyone else in the past 8 seasons. Disgraceful in fact. Ditto v Barcelona. Yeah they made it through but the killed the game. And if you think we had the luck on our side to Rafa's triumph rest assured it wasn't ANYWHERE near as lucky as this miserable outfit. Seriously the rest of the world are looking at the English game, looking at Chelsea and EVERY neutral would have wanted them to lose. Utter ridiculous sport this is.

I agree they played badly but they got the win.
I just think he would do a better job than the other young managers linked with the position.
