AVB over Martinez for me, he has won things at the highest level.
But I'd rather we had stuck with kenny than appoint either of these...

It doesn't matter what we think, stick a pair of FSG boots on...... I think Martinez wants this, I really do, my gut feeling is, he's gonna get it.

Rafa would get us back up there. (but do FSG want disruptive Rafa?)
AVB might. (But will Chelsea cloud there decision?)
Martinez I have my doubts. (But he fits FSG's bill perfectly)
Rodgers I have my doubts. (Is he the right fit?)
FSG should be going all out to get a top class manager, Rafa is one of those, Mourinho, or Guardiola.

I always liked Martin O'Neil as a manager, wouldnt mind seeing him take over even though I know its not gonna happen

I am gonna have to disagree with yo here, what is primary in FSG's mind at the moment is getting back into the CL. If this is really their primary objective, there really is only 1 candidate. Step forward Mr.Benitez.

I look at Martinez and it's just got FSG written all over it.
He ticks all of FSG's boxes, but maybe not all of ours.
Although if it all works out and he goes onto be world class and we win things, all of this doubt and reservation will be forgotten about.
What saddens me is if your gonna sack Kenny, you've got to bring in an A-Grade proven manager. Guardiola or Mourinho for instance.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm Kenny is not an A grade manager see how many other prem teams go for him. I bet not one. Why are villa not scrambling to get him as their mansger. If Martinez comes to LFC will Dave Whelan turn to Kenny?
