If we keep going downhill we will need someone who can fight relegation maybe that's the thinking

if we can't win the premier league might as well try to win the championship instead

Give the guy a break he has not even been interviewed yet and you have sacked him.

We can't go another season without looking like were close to champions league places

don't worry Stanley i actually think Martinez might be a good manager for us, something different and maybe that is what we actually need.

and if all else fails, bring kenny back to help us out of trouble again :-)

All great football managers started somewhere, none of them were born great managers. The fact of the matter is that none of us know how well Martinez could do until he is given a chance.

He's not my first choice but I'm not entirely certain who we can realistically get that is better.

Am a little unsure bout Martinez, looks like he's now the favourite. Hope we'll all support if gets the job, plays good football and Wigan did very well for last 8-)10 games of season. Pretty poor for first 30 though and similar seasons before. Really hope it works out

lets put it this way about martinez and see what you think about it.
if and i know it's only an "if", had martinez been sacked in jan or feb would any of you thought he had been badly treated?????. wigan looked doomed and for the 3rd consecutive season he managed some good results against top teams but not so good against the lower ones (remind you of anyone).

martinez is not the man for us, yet.
