1) Joachim Loew is still rather young (52) and quite successful to date with the German national team. He obviously learned a lot under Klinsmann and tactically he has been fantastic in producing his quick paced attacking game that was arguably the best team to watch at the 2010 World cup. 4-1 against England, 4-0 against Argentina, these are incredible results. I haven't seen him at club level though and don't know if he'd be the right fit for us. I love the way he introduces youth and we would likely get in a few young, german stars if he were to join us. Very unlikely though considering he's recently signed a contract to keep him as the German manager until 2014.
2) Jurgen Klopp is a fantastic manager and tactician. He's taken a very average Dortmund to be twice German champions at the expense of Munich. He plays wonderful attacking football and his team is very, very young. Though, he's just won the national title again and is in the European Champions league, why would he leave? I'd love to see him come to us, especially if he brought his own backroom. Whoever scouted out Kagawa is an absolute genius! If we were to get Klopp, and soon, I think we'd have more luck bringing in Kagawa above United, along with maybe Hummels and Goetze. Personally, I'd love to have the three of them as unlikely as it may be.
3) Rafael Benitez is a top tactician, maybe one of the very best in the world. In his first season he won the champions league with an average squad. He's made some class signings and took us so very close to pipping United to the champions league. A lot of you will point to the fact that he wanted to bring in Barry and shift off Alonso but who actually knows the facts? Maybe they had a falling out or something of the sort, I don't know. Regardless, he had to deal with the incompetence of the then owners and the lack of financial backing but still had us playing in the champions league almost every season. He knows the club inside and out and frankly, I'd love to see what he could do with proper financial backing.
