-11 of Porto's last 13 managers have won the Portuguese League.
-The only occasions where they haven't won is when they have had multiple managers throughout the season.
-You have to go back 20 years (16 managers - who says changing managers doesn't work?!) to find a manager that failed to win them the league..

I'm beginning to sway towards the 'AVB-ain't-sh!t' side of the fence

I get your point, however he did not just win the Portuguese league did he

True. I'm not completely writing him off but a quick look back through Porto's recent history does show that his acheivements aren't quite as spectacular as first thought. Personally, I don't think he has done enough or been around long enough to be taking charge of Liverpool.

The masses have spoken! People want Rafa because of how well he did with a couple of tw@ts in charge. It's more than reasonable to think he would do even better given support from FSG.

And for the record, a little bit of sigging will show that plenty of clubs succesfully go back to a previous manager. Our problem is that we pulled someone out of retirement that hadn't managed for over a decade. It's not the 'going back' that's the problem, it's who you go back TO.

Lets say if Klopp agreed, would you still prefer Rafa to Klopp?

Yes! klopp doing very well at dortmond but rafa deserves to manager a healthy lfc.

Tricky one. Klopp has done very well but only in Germany. Rafa has far exceeded expectation and has proved himself in different countries/leagues so he edges it for me. I'd like to think they are both at the top of FSG's shopping list though.

Your right about that, AVB is one of those 'risky' choices. Schrodingers cat situation

Don't get me wrong even though if I'm in favour for Klopp, if we chose Rafa although it maybe backsliding, he knows how to run a club under great pressure. As you mentioned Rafa managed under tyrants

Besides, how can you have 3 managers?

You can only prefer 1. As only 1 can do the job at a time.
