I personaly think he would pick success over money if thats the case his only alternatives would be Madrid, Barca, United or Chelsea who are the only teams capable of winning there own domestic leagues or Champions Leagues. If he wanted money he would probably choose City who could comfortably give him 200 grand a week or even more, the only thing which goes against City is they are still building and by the time City are ready Villa's best days will be well behind him as he is already about 28, he will know this. If i was a romantic and never lived in the real world I would like to think Villa would sign for us because of what we have done 20 odd years ago but in all honesty as much as i dont like the fact players like Villa and Messi are not going to come to Anfield as we are no longer the club or force we used to be, anyone who claims we are, are just burying there heads in the sand and refusing to accept the cold bitter truth.
