Realistically:
Jamie Carragher, Fabio Aurelio, Brad Jones, Jay Spearing
Hopefully:
Jordan Henderson, Charlie Adam and all of the above!
With a new manager in charge will we see forgotten players like Kuyt and Maxi given more chances? How about Aquilani and Joe Cole?

I think the majority of kenny's first team signing will be kept as backup players. We need average squad players to bring in as cover so it might as well be the ones who are currently at the club. I can't see any of the new boys moving on just yet - we'd have to take such a huge loss on them it would be embarassing for us and the players. The only one who should definitely be moved on asap is henderson. The others have all contributed or shown signs of trying or improvement. The £4-£5m we might get for him could come in handy if the new boss needs to boost his transfer kitty in order to bring in some quality.
One thing's for sure though, we need a bigger squad. I'd like to see our loan signings be given a proper crack of the whip.

I'm quite surprised to see how negative everyone is around Jordan Henderson's Liverpool future to be honest. I understand he has had a poor season but he's obviously not a bad player and has done well in the England u21 setup, still has age on his side and it seems his heart is in the right place. I honestly see parallels with Lucas in the early stages of his Liverpool career.

Lee Cattermole and Fabrice Muamba have looked good for the England U21's...
I just can't see a future for him, I really don't think he is or ever will be good enough! Same goes for Charlie Adam!

Henderson is potentially a very good player and recent performances have shown great promise. Blackburn, Arsenal and Chelsea games he was outstanding. He sticks out a mile in the U21s. It is however very much in his hands, he needs to toughen up mentally or he will spend alot of time on the bench and then be shipped on.
the squad is ok/good but the first team is not dynamic enough but lacks pace and guile.
