Just heard Paddy power has suspended bets on AVB being next liverpool manager.

Who actually thinks that betting being suspended by bookmakers actually means ANYTHING these days?

as dunc had a bet on AVB....

Bets are not suspended for no reason. The bookies love the money, I'm not claiming that it means he is a cert for next manager jus sharing info in a forum

Could be lots of fans from other clubs/people with no affiliation putting small bets on Villas Boas.

Thing is, Villas Boas is the laughing stock for his Chelsea "failure" and many people would want him to take the Liverpool job, so they have something to laugh about. Hence the betting.

I think we'll see something soon, regarding a new manager, but that doesn't mean it's Villas Boas at all.

Betting is suspended because of vast amounts of money going down on it, and whatever algorithm they use tells them it's not worth taking any more wagers for fear of pay out. Doesn't mean it's gonna happen but gotta wonder what do all these people know

Well, perhaps you should watch some of the videos dunk did on the betting odds. Watch them reopen ebtting within a few hours and watch people throw their money on it...only for a completely different person to be put in charge.

No, I understand that mate, I was just responding to the info on a forum Thanks for the info, it's useful to know alright, but I don't pay much attention to bookies anymore, because they suspend betting at the drop of a hat these days. Flurries of bets from people getting false "insider" information.
