If we had the money, we would bid and i reckon Villa would jump at the chance to form a partnership with Torres at club level, plus all the Spanish connection we have at Liverpool could sway it.
It just comes down to money, and at this club, Money just seems to disappear into an American pocket or two.
All about opinions isn't it, you think he will come because of friendships and because we won major trophies regulary nearly a quarter of a century ago, whereas I think because he only has one big contract left in his career and has not really won things in his career he will not want to waste this opportunity by signing for a club that lives on it's past reputation, is touch and go every season just to qualify for the champions league each season, is in disaray off the pitch with it's owners, does'nt have much money to spend and this summer will be getting shut of a spanish manager due to incompetency in his job. I just feel Villa is quite sensible and will use his head instead of his heart when deciding where his future lies.
