KopTalk.com Forums Football Liverpool FC Forum Thank you Dalglish

He came in at a very hard time and I think he did a job that no one else could have in steadying the ship.
Personally, I think its right that he has gone but I believe he did a good job for us.
He loves the club and gave it his all and for that I think he deserves some thanks.

Thanks for the carling cup, we'll put it on the shelf with all the others.

I'm not going to get all sentimental like some people on here. Yes, he was a great player - everyone knows that, but it has nothing to do with his job......which he has made a complete hash of in the last 12 months and fully deserved to be sacked.

PS - fsg steadied 'the ship' and kenny came in at a very cushy time when there was no board room disputes and he had pots of money to spend. Plus we were languishing well below expectation and a rise up the table was a piece of p!ss - things couldn't really have been any easier for him.

at least have the decency to get his name nearly right!!! daldlish!

Yes many people have already said thanks on the other "Dalglish appreciate thread" but as long as your thank you is acknowledged then no problem

Haha that has brightened up my day slightly
