As per the title he must be got rid of. He has come out and said he is only staying for the money stating he would go but he would have to take an 80% pay cut. He has been poor this season and hasn't deserved a starting place and with an attitude like that it's not surprising. Anyone who is just at the club to pick up a pay check is a burden on the club. He has been a good servant to the club in the past but is past it know and with an attitude like that he must be got rid of.

Where did you read that he wanted to stay for money. All I've heard is he wants to Play more regular and he was dissapointed with the season as most ofbus we are.

Hes been one of our most loyal and better players through the years. Even grouch the gillete and hicks shambles.

People are too quick to say he needs to go or who ever else it will be next. He may well go but I don't think it will be with any bad blood and I have the upmost respect for dirk and would wish him all the beat for the future. Not many players leave us and go on to do bigger and better things.

I wouldn't go telling the news that I was only there for the money. Is he not 32? That's old for a striker come winger?

Sky Sports last line of article below

Liverpool forward Dirk Kuyt has taken a swipe at Reds manager Kenny Dalglish.

The 31-year-old Holland international also claims he is being forced out at Anfield after failing to secure a regular first-team place under Dalglish.

Kuyt said: "Under this manager I don't have the feeling any more that he will put me in the side every week.

"I'm under no illusion about playing every week. But I believe I am still good enough to play for Liverpool every week.

"Deep in my heart I'd love to stay at Liverpool."

Kuyt has been linked with Dutch club Feyenoord after holding talks with club officials, but finances are likely to rule that move out.

"If I returned to Holland, I would have to take an 80% cut in my Liverpool wages," he said.

Well that's not helping his case at all. Actually quite surprised in him. I think it's attention seeking and he should keep his mouth shut. You woul think some of the senior players would say to him " have a word dirk" you blonde terminator.

He's entitled to his opinion but a stunt like this does everyone no favours.
