Tbh, I'm disappointed with it. Delighted to see the return of the Liverbird crest but I'm really not keen on the collar. Have seen some people saying it reminds them of one of our kits from the 70s. The Liverbird aside, it's nothing like a 70s kit! We had nothing like this in the 70s. More like the 40s!
I'll still get it though. I don't like our current one. I have it in long sleeve, and to be honest, the only time I ever wear it is when I'm playing 5-a-side. I prefer wearing the black one from this season if I'm going to the pub for a match or whatever. I hope the new one is a decent fit anyway. Bad collars can ruin a jersey.
