Atmosphere seemed okay tonight on TV tonight. They sing that Garcia song all the time. Think the singing towards Torres was more banter than abuse. And yes I agree with you on the Carroll point, was great to hear his name sang when he stopped the ball from going out. Unfortunately though, whenever Torres was sharing a camera view with the Liverpool fans there was a bunch of retarded neanderthal dickheads (some with children!) there to ruin it......grown men aggressively swearing, foaming at the mouth and waving offensive hand gestures at him. I can't even remember who he raped and killed anymore.... My absolute hatred and loathing of the rat face c  retin is well dicumented in here. I wasn't at the match btw, but I was swearing at the radio every time I heard its name.

When I have a spare ticket my girlfriend never wants to come to the games. But when Torres used to play she always wanted to come and used to ask could we sit nearer the goal so she could have a better look at him.

sad how whole torres thing has ended up
he was class for us and he knows he should of stayed. Think the reason he went was good enough and has since proved true, he said he wanted to play for a bigger Club and win trophies, well looks like he has done both in just over a year, Cant blame the lad myself he gave us good service and had his appetite of winning trophies wetted by winning with Spain and wanted to taste more nothing wrong with that it's not his fault our Club could'nt match his expertations or provide him with the platform. I know things up to now have'nt worked out for him yet down there but you cant knock his reasons for wanting to leave, the othere thing I could'nt understand from the Cup final was, why was Raul Meireles booed when he came on, this man done nothing wrong and was let down by the Club reneging on the terms he was signed under he was supposed to get a wage rise and he never so the Club decided to sell him, he never asked to leave so the decision was'nt his, cant understand our fans.

The Torres one was a fair point, I dont think anyone can blame a player for wanting to win things if he is at a Club not big enough or able to provide him with the platform or opportunity to win the games major honours, you could'nt really say much if Gerrard was younger and wanted to move for the same reasons either.

That doesn't surprise me one single bit. That aside, I was disappointed to hear Meireles being booed, and very very surprised too. I don't blame him for leaving after allegedly having a promise reneged on by the club - albeit by different owners to those who made the agreement.

Torres wanted to leave but while he was here he gave his all IMO.
