I really like this kid. does dive in and act a bit nieve at times but at least when he gets the ball he tries to create and move us forward. good squad player and hope he gets more chances next year

i like the kid to. i like the fact that he does shy away and is naturally attack minded. i can see him turning into a top player

Good raw talent but needs to work hard on his game. Makes far to many mistakes. But agreed a fair prospect

Would like to see him loaned out to someone like Wigan or Swansea who play nice passing football and see how he can progress with regular game time

if he was at arsenal or utd he would diff spend next season on loan but we only seem to want to keep the playing in the reserves or championship. why dont we try to loan to PL teams for a change

Shelvey defo should be loaned to a PL team but the likes of Flanagan and all the young reserves coming through (with the exception of Sterling) should be looked at to loan to the Championship for a year and then the following year up to the PL. Sterling should either be loaned out to a PL team or get regular playing time to see if he can become a regular starter

Wasn't sure bit like him more and more. Tiny bit slow on the move, but will develop into a tidy baller

i know im gonna get a bit of a kicking for what im about to suggest.

i am probably the biggest shelvey fan going (who isn't related to him that is). i think he could be our paul scholes. and i wouldn't be loaning him out next season i would be playing him as our number 1 attacking CM. not saying he's perfect but he is bloody talented and we shouldn't let his age make us think he can't do this or isn't ready for that. play him. he's gonna be a star.
