Wasn't planning on making a new thread for this, but then realised there were a few similar things I wanted to bring up so...

Was Luis Garcia at the game tonight, does anyone know? I'm full sure I heard his song being sung around the 68 minute mark? confused

It was great to hear the crowd singing "There's only one Andy Carroll" after he busted his gut to save the ball going out for a Chelsea goalkick and nearly ended up in The Kop in the process! Must have been a great moment for him. Why has his song not caught on properly though??

Torres got a couple of chants aimed at him. "Chelsea rent boy!" was one, but I have to say I really enjoyed hearing what sounded like the whole stadium singing "You shoulda stayed at a big club!" at him grin

Atmosphere seemed okay tonight on TV tonight. They sing that Garcia song all the time. Think the singing towards Torres was more banter than abuse. And yes I agree with you on the Carroll point, was great to hear his name sang when he stopped the ball from going out.

Personally I miss our Torres song. It was one of my favourites!

Same as, but we'll never hear it again, unfortunately. Even if he was to somehow to return to the club in the future, none of the lyrics are true anymore.

I'm sure he will spare a thought for us when he is in Munich. He left his beloved atletico in the hunt for glory. Leaving Liverpool would have been much easier. He is a professional sportsman with a short shelflife. Let's see what Suarez does over the summer.they will think the same way. I can see nothing to keep him with us except a contract and we know what they are worth.
