When are the fans going to wake up and smell the coffee about the state our club is in. Souness is right, for god sake we nearly had to sell Torres last season, never mind contract extensions that's just to push the price to the max!!!. We are over 300 million in debt, The banks are under big pressure because of the global climate, on top of that UFFA are looking into the debt's of all clubs playing in Europe.

if he was only a former player and skipper that would be fair comment, but as a Manager and someone who sold his story to the Sun a few years after Hillsborough he is a complete and utter tool who I lost any respect for a long time ago.

True and there were a hint of sour grapes in his comments. But he his point where fair on where the club is going and no i don't know the finance for the club and what it is like. But do i believe that yes man Purslow hell no because he is just a tool for the two yanks.

I would rather have honest comments from the club about the plans and whats going on then digging my head in the sand and pretend everything is rosey when it clear to every fan is not.
