That's a lot of midfielders, LFC legend. Unless we move on Aquilani(which I'm sure we will), Joe Cole, Charlie Adam, and Jordan Henderson then I can't see us picking up more than 1 midfielder.

Personally, I would keep Aquaman and buy Ramirez. Sell Adam, Cole, and loan out Henderson and Shelvey. Also we need another defensive midfielder because Spearing can't cut it and it may be awhile for Lucas to get back to his best. Then pick up another striker and a winger. So about 4 solid buys (plus Aquaman returning from loan) and we'll be set. I doubt any of it will happen, but a man can hope.

I doubt he's our big signing. He won't go for more than 10 million, and we already tabled a bid for Ramirez for 16.

I don't think we're in for Dempsey as much as I like to see him here. He is 29 years old.

Dempsey Wont happen FSG are the ones who want youthful players, the only way we'll sign Depsey is if he helps us in the USA tour commercialy this summer, so they'll most likely do the numbers and see if he'll bring in more money + the quality of his play outweigh his wage + transfer, ala when Beckham went LA Galaxy, and Real signing Ronaldo

I'd love to see dempsey here, always been underrated, good technically, hard working and always a had full. So what if he's 29, need someone to take workload off suarez. he's not going to single handedly turn us into winning league but def good addition
